Dr. Jianqi QIN is an associate professor in the School of Earth and Space Sciences at Peking University. His research interests include planetary aeronomy, radiative transfer modeling, FUV and EUV remote sensing data analysis, and gas discharge phenomena (e.g., lightning, streamers, sprites, halos). Dr. Qin received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University in 2013. Before joining Peking University, he worked as a research scientist in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

覃建旗博士现任北京大学地球与空间科学学院副教授。他的研究兴趣包括行星高层大气物理学、辐射传输建模、远紫外和极紫外遥感数据分析，以及气体放电现象（如闪电、带状放电、大气精灵、晕状辉光）。覃博士于2013年获得美国宾夕法尼亚州立大学电气工程博士学位。在加入北京大学之前，他曾在美国伊利诺伊大学厄巴纳-香槟分校电气与计算机工程系担任研究科学家。
